Hey Margie! Well now we are in the 80s and you are pushing forward to lead the way to 81! Sure hope you are doing good. Are you still driving cars?! Wish I could see you sometime but know you are further south than I can get to! Here's a picture taken yesterday after returning from a conference where surprisingly I received two awards for the paper I presented. I had decided it would be my last presentation- had no idea I was going to get these awards. My best to youth this birthday, Maggie (Margaret)

It is with great sadness to let you all know that George Stankey passed away yesterday around 11 AM. He had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and chose not to intervene with option s like chemo and radiation. He kept his humor and was always quick with a response despite this awful disease. His wife Jackie nd two daughters indicated at George's request there would not be any funeral. He lived just south of Newport, OR and had a wonder full-time view of the Pacific Ocean --- He once told me that he was keeping an eye on the waves and that they were all accounted for under his watch.
