Peggy's 5th anniversary of her death was this month. I miss her dearly. She was such a wonderful friend. Always in a good mood and ready to cheer me up when necessary. She was always the first to offer help when needed.

We had great fun together during our High School years. Driving around in her Nash Rambler, sleep-overs and just hanging out at Dairyland and downtown Portland.

She was very brave when fighting her illness (cancer) and was living her last days with her sister Pat.

Her family, husband (Gary) and friends miss her and I will especially miss her during the reunion, since she spend so much of her time planning all the past reunions.

I didn’t know Peggy very well in high school (my loss) but when our class didn’t have a 30th reunion she, along with Larry Weaver, Carla Tolliver and Linda Kaufman helped me organize an annual Sunset/Beaverton reunion at Skyline Tavern each last Saturday in July (this will be our 21st).

She worked hard each year to ensure that high school friends had an opportunity to meet and share life’s experiences. She was a great friend with tremendous integrity and loyalty. Thank you Peggy for always being there when we needed you. You are greatly missed.

Peggy was my frst cousin.

We we quite close when we attended Aloha Huber grade school but kept it quiet.

We went our seperate ways after high school but attended our family reunions.

At that time Peggy asked me to attend the annual Sunset. / Beaverton  high school reunions at Skyline tavern.

I did this until I had to tell Peggy that my doctors had diagnosed me with pancreatic cancer and given me a year

or so to live.   Nine months later Peggy was gone and my cancer had disappeared.   I  miss Peggy a lot.

and visit her at Willamette National Cemetery once a year.  Our familty has never been quite the same.
