Clay and I went to grade school and high school together.  He always had a big grin on his face and was a lot of fun to be around.  I was very saddened by his passing.  We had a nice group of friends that were always together, after school and on the weekends. Clay was always with us. I 'm so sorry he didn't attend our 50th reunion. It would have great to see that big smile again. He will be missed by all of us.

Until we all meet again,

Lynn

I too went through grade school and high school with Clay, I recruited him to be a football manager our freshman year at Beaverton, he was always so hard working and ready to help.  And yes I remember the big smile.  We had 60 some members on the Freshman team that year because of the "extra large" student population before the School District divided into Beaverton and Sunset.

I lost track of Clay and several others after graduation and it has been interesting and fun to reconnect.  I am very sorry to hear of Clay's death and have only very fond memories of our time together.  We played football and  had many funny times at Sunset Valley grade school.  We had a great situation there as I remember; there were only 13 boys and over 40 girls in our two classes, wow six to one odds... the boys were lucky for those several years.

Clay you will "live long and prosper" in my memory.... bob
