So sad we lost you, Tim, at such an early age. I still remember that Memorial weekend I heard of your tragic car accident. I am thinking it was about 1965. We were grade school friends at West Sylvan and your sister Barbara was in my sister's class. Although we were almost neighbors I suspect Wick, Jim Kotchik and John Young could pass on more " guy " stories. I remember you as a really nice kid who was also very good looking. I think of you playing baseball, but maybe that's because you looked like Micky Mantle! Rest in peace, my friend. I think of you often when I pass Sunset Memorial. But for the grace of God, it could have been any one of us. We 'll miss you.

So very sad to be the first loss of our class.  Year was 1962, I believe.  I remember our many good times on the baseball diamond.  Your Service was quite moving and opened our eyes to mortality.  We have missed you, but not forgotten.

Tim and I became best friends in the second grade, after I moved to the West Slope area, and we hung out together from that time on.  We had many adventures along the way!  When I see the movie "Stand By Me," I think fondly of those times - Tim as Chris and me as Gordy.  I was at school in Eugene when my Mom called me with the sad news.  The good times with Tim will always live in my memory.

Tim, I go to the cemetery often, visit your site, and reflect on the many memories of our times together you were a great friend.  I'll never forget a lady saying " what a waste of a beautiful young man" as we were carrying you from the church.
